No I cannot tell you who said it or about whom it was said but in handwritten additions to a preprinted clinical evaluation form a country doctor had me in stitches. A few of the highlights:
HEARING: She can hear better than a deer
WEIGHT: She has a serious case of biscuit poisoning
BULGES: Yeah, lots of 'em, but no hernias.
[I suppose that this doctor wrote this at the end of an era when people didn't have easy access to their own medical records. Probably a good thing. You do have to wonder though if he wouldn't have been fun to deal with in the office as long as you never checked out what he wrote about you.]
